Goal
The goal of the installation is to process stored bottom ash directly at the landfill site. In Norway it is not allowed to use bottom ash in road construction. It must be landfilled after maximum metal recovery. The amount of metal that can be left in the processed bottom ash is < 1%.
Result
The result of the plant is that the metal is recovered to the maximum. It is often under 0,1% metals left in the bottom ash. It is due to the crushing, liberation and cleaning of the metals. The material is metal rich and contains a relative high amount of precious metals.
